Having been let down by both the AA and RAC I rang Paul. I'd lost my car keys whilst on holiday, I was stranded with two small boys and my nan. I couldn't recommend Paul highly enough. He charges a fair price for his services and is honest, gives straight-forward non-technical explanations, with no bull. I was very impressed with his professionalism and tenacity, when after another car key cutting business in my area had failed to make me a key and fob that worked with my Toyota alarm/immobiliser system, it didn't phase him at all and Paul made not one, but two keys. Unbeknownst to us the blade of our car key had become so worn at the tip that it no longer functioned properly. However this fact was hidden from us because invariably we used the remote function to open and close the doors.In addition to this, it was our only key.One afternoon, we were just going out before collecting someone from the station later in the day. On attempting to open the car, we discovered that part of the fob's innards had fallen out. Okay, we thought, we will open the door in the old fashioned way.Obviously, because of the above fact, the key just turned round and round in the lock. We could not gain access.We called our go to mechanic but could not locate him. (It WAS Christmas time!) Luckily, a rescue service chap told us about Key To My Car. After an informative chat to Paul on the phone, he drove out to us (no call out charge)in his mobile workshop. He not only supplied us with a spare conventional key but also a perfectly functioning shiny new remote too! This was all performed by Paul, an approachable, friendly technician, who is excellent at his job. It was all done at a very reasonable cost. Paul was the only response to my request when my Chrysler Crossfire key broke whilst I was in a lay-by on my way to Birmingham. On calling numerous local companies none were able or willing to attempt to sort my issue out due to the type of car and key required! Paul was amazing, he responded explained the situation and the difficulties involved. He went out of his way to find the correct blank and blade and came down to sort. It wasn't an easy job due to Chrysler providing very weird codes but Paul persisted and with breath held after a couple of required tweaks, I was in my car. As I said Paul when I took your card I will definitely be recommending you to all my friends and as I have had to explain the story to most people who knows me amusement, I have passed on your details.
